How do I submit a story?
You must first register and login to submit a story (see below). When you login, you will be taken automatically to the 'submit a story' page. You can also reach this page by clicking on the 'Submit a story' button in the User Menu, which appears on the left hand side of the screen when you are logged in.

How do I register?
In the 'Contributors Login' box on the left hand side of the screen, click on 'Create an Account'. This takes you to a form where you need to give your name, make up a username, and leave your email address. At this stage we will also ask you if you would like us to consider including your story in one of our short films. In this case, it is also worth leaving your telephone number in the box provided.

You will see on the form which bits of information are necessary to register and which bits are optional. If you hover your mouse over the blue information buttons you will also see additional information. Once you have registered, you will immediately allowed to login and submit your story.

What will you do with my details?
We will only use your details for the purposes of the project. To read our privacy policy in full, please click here.

How do I login?
Type in your username and password in the 'Contributors login' box on the left hand side of the screen and click on 'Login'. If you click on the 'Remember me' button your computer will remember your username and password for the next time you visit. It is advisable, of course, not to do this on a computer which may be used by other people, eg in a library.

I've written my story in a wordprocessor on my computer, and I don't want to type it again into the form. How can I copy it?
This is really simple - just select all the text in your wordprocessor and click on the 'copy' button in the toolbar. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut which works in all software by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing C on the keyboard. The text is now in your clipboard memory.

You can now click anywhere in the 'Type your story' here box in the website. Then hold down the Ctrl key again and press V on the keyboard. Your text is now in the form.

How do I submit photos with my story?
Click on the 'Browse' button next to the 'Add a photo' box. Then navigate to the file on your computer and click OK. When you click 'Submit your Story', the image will automatically be uploaded. Please DO NOT upload very large images - this will slow down the network, the server, and use up unnecessary storage space.

We limit photo submissions to 500kb maximum. To find out how large your photo file is, right click on the photo in Windows Explorer and click on 'Properties'. If your photo is larger than our limit, please make it smaller using image editing software. If you don't know how to do this, then try this easy, free online service which will resize your photo for you.

How do I ask a question on the Advice & Support Section?
First login (see above), then click on 'Advice and Support'. At the bottom of the page, type in the subject and message and click on 'Submit'.

How do I reply or comment in the Advice & Support Section?
First login (see above), then click on the 'Respond to this message' text at the bottom of the subject message. Process as in the question above.
